[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are super light and comfortable, and I love the blue-green pattern. I like the way the 5" length looks, and I was hoping the longer-ish length would completely eliminate the legs riding up on runs (my primarly reason for purchasing them). Unfortunately, they still rode up on a long, hot run when I was pretty sweaty. I think I can wear them for shorter runs in cooler weather (and for casual wear), but I might need to get the 7" version for longer and hotter runs. I'm 5' 6" and about 150 lbs (with thighs that have always been a bit large compared to my waist/hips) and got a medium.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply put, this is a different short. I have 6 pairs of the original chaser short and love them. The 2.0 version short rode up over my belly button, the tapered back creates an extra drag of fabric, flapping in the wind my entire run. The “cloud-like” liner was noticed and jaw strings are an unnecessary addition. I guess I get the tighter fit pocket for my phone which end up halfway up my back. This version is a disappointment—we really shouldn’t have tried to reinvent the wheel here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are comfortable and flattering. I have thicker thighs, so the 3" length looks terrible on me and tend to ride up. This 5" length is better. I've also tried the 7", which are a little too long. I am 5'2" 135# and the medium were great. The fabric is soft, waistband is comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cute, bright color. They hit right at the top of my mid thigh. I bought a longer length specifically so they wouldn’t creep up my thighs during my run, but unfortunately, they were swallowed by my legs almost immediately into my run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts have been better than my expectations, extremely comfortable, love the wide waist band, great for running!
The reasons we used to like these shorts is because 1. There was a pocket in back for phones and 2. They felt lighter than air especially in hot weather. No more. There is no more pocket for the phone and the waist band is too tight, no longer feeling airy and comfortable. Unfortunately I will have to search for another brand.

I agree with the last couple reviews. Please bring back the original. I have worn size medium for years and now the medium is to small and large is too large. The back phone pocket is now too small for my phone. These used to be my go-to shorts and now I can't wear them.

The 5 inch Chaser short felt very snug & noticeably shorter so I compared it to others I have (not Chaser 2). The new one was a full inch shorter back and front. It was also a full inch smaller at the waist and hip than the other five pairs I have. They need to be advertised as running small for the size (S).

The small pocket is just big enough to throw my key fob in and the cell pocket fits my iPhone 14 perfect. Once my phone and keys are tucked away there is no bounce. I forget they’re there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bring back the original version - please! The Chaser 5" shorts are my absolute favorite running shorts. The 2.0 is not a good update. The back pocket is now too small to hold my phone, the material is thinner (you can see the shorts liner outline!), and they are baggier in the back. I do like the update to the waist, but otherwise, I'm just so sad. Please bring back the original! Or at least fix the back pocket on these.
