69 Years Old And Still Going Strong With The Help Of This Shoe

I don’t run much anymore but I do work out every day and this is my workout shoe. The shoe laces up securely with excellent arch support. No heel slippage. Great stability. Light-weight feel. I love them. Comfortable in the toe box. Please keep making this shoe!

What Has Happened To Brooks?

Having been a loyal wearer of Brooks shoes for many years and having recommended them to others, I must express my disappointment with my recent purchases this spring. It appears there have been noticeable changes in quality and design. The pair I began wearing on August 25th, 2025, after the previous pair I bought in March failed prematurely, have been particularly problematic. They felt uncomfortable from the beginning, with a narrower toe box and a lack of stability. Consequently, I am now experiencing significant heel and arch pain in my right foot. This is quite disheartening. Furthermore, my sister and daughter have had similar experiences and are now also considering alternative shoe brands.

Shoe is very stiff, but I think it will be ok after more of a breaking in. This was somewhat expected with the GTS rails which seem to be the only way this shoe comes now. Rather frustrated with the new design though - I had to go up a full size in order for the shoe to fit comfortably without banging into my toes.

Good Support

I needed a show mostly for walking that was supportive and not too soft. I feel these fit the criteria well . Good stability without being overly wide in the soke

Soft And Supportive

This is my fourth pair of Brooks shoes. The first pair I purchased after an in-store fitting. Brooks shoes are supportive and make my walk/jog workouts better. The shoes help my pronation and keep me stable. I am not a devoted fan of this shoe.
