Great Support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these for pronation support! These were on sale, so I actually bought two pairs at the same time!

Great Support

The best shoes for ankle support. I tried Adrenaline and Ghost but this is by far my favorite and I bought a second pair in different color. Highly recommend for anyone with foot issues (pain or swelling).

On The Money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent! Lov these immediately! Brooks is my only go to for few years now Love the feel the support and they style!

Great Support With A Nice Look

I am not a runner but I am a walker & this shoe gives me the support I need. I have issues with my ankles & a bouncy shoe doesn’t work for me. This shoe gives me the comfort I need but more importantly the support.

Narrow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing Ariels since the women's were named beast, too, and I've most recently worn through 3 pair of 20's. I did read all the previous reviews but decided to go with my usual size (which is 1 full size larger than my street shoe size). The left shoe rubbed my pinky toe so I returned them. I agree with everyone else that the ebony just looks like black that was left in the sun and the shoelaces are oddly short. I ordered another pair in the same length but wide and they are too big. I feel really insecure when doing intervals. So my plan for now is to use them for distance and the least worn of my 20s for intervals. Pretty disappointing but I didn't want to exchange again. The support is still great. Cushioning great. I just wish the sizing was consistent.

Just A Yes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the support. Ankles and knees are thanking me for investing.

Love, But Order Half A Size Bigger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the feel of the shoes and the look. The only thing I would like to mention is that they run about half a size smaller than other pairs that I have purchased in the past.

I Will Never Order Them Again.

They are hard, with a small toe box. I can't wear them! I ordered the same size that I wear in the Adrenalines and they are awful.

Good For Long Walk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned the first pair I ordered in medium width as they felt too narrow ,they do not run roomy in toe box as I thought and purchased the same shoe in wide which so far seems ok ,note I never needed wide in Brooks prior to this time. these do seem like I can walk quite a bit in them but still needed to use orthotics -not custom ,just walk hero brand . Overall I would recommend if you have flat feet .

Highest Of Recommendations For The Brooks Ariel Gts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn the Brooks Ariel GTS for over twenty years. After my fourth right ankle surgery and needing to have my right Achilles tendon re-sectioned, my Podiatric Surgeon, Dr. Stephen Stern (Chairman of the Department of Podiatric Surgery, Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax, VA, now retired) told me I needed to wear only this shoe for the rest of my life BECAUSE it is deeply set in the heel area and, therefore, stretches the Achilles tendon, keeping it from tightening up. My left Achilles tendon has remained healthy. I give the Brooks Ariel GTS the highest of recommendations. I have kept older ones as I have needed to order new ones and now have a nice collection of various colors to wear when I want to be "color coordinated!"

Great Support, A Little Narrow

I have a couple of foot problems and these have been so helpful. I had a neuroma for a long time and I used to wear Hookas until a bodyworker pointed out that they’re not very supportive for the rest of your body. I had been having a little bit of sciatic pain and as soon as I switched to these it went away, so i guess she was right! This particular model was recommended by my podiatrist. They are the most supportive which is great. They do run narrow in my opinion. I usually were a wide size, but with these I had to bump up to an extra wide (which I’ve never worn before), and it’s honestly a little loose in the heel, but great for my toes. I really wish they made a waterproof version!

KathyW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable. I have problem feet and Ariel’s do not hurt my feet.

Ankle Break Recovery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ariel GTS was recommended by my foot/ankle surgeon for motion control following ankle surgery for serious break. The rigid sides and back of this shoe provides much-needed support. It’s comfortable and gives me peace of mind in getting my stride back!

Very Good Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really comfortable. I have ankle problems, it kind of stablizes my ankle.

Comfy

Its very comfy. I would probably size up next time. It depends on the socks you wear with the shoes. Other than that, I love the feel and the color as well
