Uncomfortable Waistband

I really wanted to love these shorts -- I'd been looking specifically for purple short to wear during my marathon. I absolutely love the color, and the fact that they were 2-in-1 and a good length, but I found the waistband so uncomfortable. It was very wide and didn't sit on my waist, despite the fact that I'm short. Sizing up would've meant the compression shorts underneath would've been too loose. For reference, I'm 5'3, 120ish, and a true size small. Returning them and hoping I like the chaser shorts better, but I'd really wanted the 2-in-1.

Love But Runs Small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love everything about these shorts - color, pockets, flow, and fit. Just runs small. Usually, I am a L and had to go up to XL. Normally, I love Brooks clothing because sizing is consistent, but it feels like even the XL is a bit tighter than I would like.

Horrendous

The dash 2 in 1 is a complete miss for Brooks after how good the chaser 2 in 1 was. The Dash liner has no structural integrity and rides up along with the outer short while simultaneously sagging on the side with the phone pouch. The inner pocket is no where near as nice as the rear zipper pocket from the previous iteration. I had planned 6 miles in them but ended up having to turn for home at 3 and change shorts from all the chafing.

Too Small & Too Short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually wear a medium but these were too tight and too short and they rode up my thighs. I'm returning them.
