Rated 5 out of 5 by sara17 from Little changes made a big difference I was a huge fan of the Ghost 10- I went through 7 pairs. I stock piled them. I ran some good long distance races in the 10s. I tried the Ghost 11 but they weren't the same. They weren't as soft or as bouncy. I struggled to find a replacement. I was excited to see the songs of the Ghost 12s. They resembled the 10. I was not disappointed! These are as good as the 10s. I am on my 2nd pair and I ran a marathon in these shoes straight out of the box. I was comfortable and my feet were happy for 26.2 miles. This might just be me, but I do suggest trying on your normal size and a size up. I went a size up from the 10 but I never had the 11 so I don't know how they compare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Liblady from More fitted than the Ghost 11 I have 2 pairs of Ghost 11s, one a newer pair that I bought just before the 12s came out. I can say that the Ghost 11s had a much more wider fit for toe room - almost too wide, and the Ghost 12s feel more fitted and snug like they fixed that issue, in a VERY good way. They honestly remind me of the original GT2000s series (asics) before they changed them! The minute I put these 12s on (I was wearing my old Ghost 11s at the same time to compare) - I knew I was buying the newer version. So far, it feels just as cushioned as the Ghost 11, but just more surrounded to the foot. I have wide feet, and the Ghost 11s felt wide to me (even in the normal width). These fit just right, almost perfectly. I purchased the same size I wore in Ghost 11, so I would say stick to your normal Ghost size. I wear 7.5 in every day shoes, but wear 8.5 in Ghost versions. Great shoe, and I plan to buy another pair!

Rated 4 out of 5 by NCGram from Good soft running shoe In my opinion, Ghost 12 outshines Ghost 11 by far but still doesn't measure up to Ghost 10. 12 has lots of soft landing gear but is more narrow in the forefoot that previous versions. For those of us forefoot strikers who might have some toe issues, that extra room in the Ghost 10 toebox was wonderful. To compensate, when wearing Ghost 12, lacing up has to be more relaxed, socks a bit thinner and forget adding a custom insole.... there isn't room. However, the soft landing is nice and the look is great and I will buy again when this pair wears out (since Ghost 10 is extinct!)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jogging123 from Best Since Ghost 10!! Huge improvement over Brooks Ghost 11. The 11 always felt a little sloppy and wide for my liking but worked better for me than others I'd tried (my Nike Pegasus lasted me about 150 miles before the cushion felt compressed). It was the best available option since my Ghost 10s sadly were put out of service. These are nearly as good (not quite as good) as the 10s. Very good running shoe. I wish Brooks would just redo the 10s. They, for whatever reason, were better for me than any I've worn before or since.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RunnerStacey from Very disappointed - limited edition I have been a long-time Ghost fan. They are the only running shoes I wear. I was excited to see the limited edition version in the Ghost 12 and bought the vanilla sprinkles model. Only 1/2 mile into my first run the laces on my left shoe came untied (and that was after I had double-knotted them based on other reviews). I tightened the laces enough to triple-knot them and my feet started feeling constricted. After spending the amount of money I did to purchase these, they should have no issues. I can’t believe they got through quality control. Very disappointed. They look adorable, but that’s not going to help for my 16-miler this weekend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by YooperGal from Comfort, Support, great Looks! My 8-month-old Ghosts 11 were my first pair of non-all leather athletic shoes from Brooks, and I love them. After 35 miles/week walking, though, they’re starting to show their wear. My new a Ghost 12s, size 9.5W, are an incredible improvement over the 11s, and I am thrilled with the 11s. The 12s have a much more comfortable upper and tongue cushioning, a slightly wider foot box, and seem to be weightless. I’m far from a neutral walker - I over-supinate - but I get plenty of support and comfort with the Ghost 12. I also have high arches and insteps and, again, these fit my needs perfectly. Love these shoes!! Order up a 1/2 size; except in Brooks, I normally wear a 9.

Rated 1 out of 5 by HUFF1 from NOT A GOOD CHANGE I have purchased ghost shoes for about 5 years now. The 12's are extremely painful. They now are shorter..narrower in the width and toe bed and it feels like my arch has a fist pressing upwards. If this doesnt get changed back to the comfortable shoe I know, I wont be purchasing again. I had to return this shoe bc I could only wear it for 10 minutes and my foot ached for 20 min afterwards like it had been contorted. What is happening? I have always purchased a 7 medium but it felt like a 6 and narrow. I tried the levitates and couldnt stand how that cupped my heel and they also felt small and inappropriately sized. Just awful.
