Greatly Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having been a Ghost fan for years, I was looking forward to the Ghost 17 for upcoming half marathon training. I was sorely disappointed. The shoe was tight and uncomfortable throughout. I tried running 4 miles three different days on the treadmill and my feet hurt after every run. The shoe felt tight in length and width. I had to return them, and am at at a loss for a new shoe model. I pulled my old Ghost 14s out of the closet and have been wearing them. Come on Brooks…if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a fan of ghost shoes since in the single digits. This latest release is horrible from the super low cut on the side to the way it squeezes your heel ( and I have super narrow feet!) It doesn’t even feel like the same shoe let alone series. Always be an automatic buy but now that’s no longer case . This latest release makes me think I’m going to have to find a new tennis shoe. Please bring back the ghost we love.

Great For What I Needed

Though I’m no runner, I bought these shoes for both cardio/walking & weight lifting. They do NOT disappoint! Still great fitting, stable and durable I will definitely be purchasing another pair in a few months - they are super great!

They aren’t as comfortable as my previous Ghost. I’ve gotten several compliments on them but I haven’t been as excited to wear them this time around. As a nurse, I’m on my feet a lot and my shoes need to offer support as well as comfort to get me through the day. I just feel that these are a little more on the firmer side and it just makes me a little sad.
