Ghost 17 - Great Fit, Comfortable Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After Brooks discontinued my last beloved shoe, my long search for a comfortable replacement stopped here. The Ghost 17 with loosely tied laces fits my semi-wide foot perfectly. This dark grey/teal/lavender was only a temporary color, and finally one that I love. I bought two. Dear Brooks, please don't discontinue this shoe, and have this *finally* normal color available always.

17s

I ran on glycerins for over a decade until they changed and became too soft. Switched to the ghost and have been running on ghosts for a decade now but the 16s were a big change that didn’t work for me at all. Too soft and they wore out after only 100 miles. I searched and bought the remaining 15s that I could find that lasted until these 17s came out. These are better, but I’d keep buying the 15s if I could. The material on the 17s comes up too high at the ankle and they feel more structured and less neutral. Wish that companies wouldn’t change shoes when they have a good thing with customers who buy the shoes loyally for decades.

Making Concrete Feel Like Clouds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a nurse and have used Brooks Ghost shoes for the past 3 years. I absolutely love them! I have older versions of Brooks and they are still quite comfortable but definitely not as cushy as they used to be. the Ghost 17s don't seem much different than my older ones except they are like walking on a cloud!

Uncomfortable

I opened the box tried them on and printed a return label. So wish you would bring back the 14's or 15's. Until then I guess I find a different brand of shoe 😞
