Why Did You Mess With A Good Thing?

You guys changed these ones. I have always loved Ghost, because they are so roomy. The fronts of these are definitely shorter and narrower, so they hug the tops of my big toes too tightly. Any chance I can buy Ghost 16's again?

If You Find The Toe/midsole Tight, Try The W

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worn Ghosts since model 12. I love them but it seems that they’ve gotten narrower (or my foot has gotten wider) over the years…the point that I often wear a hole in the medial side wall over my 1st MTP joint. I finally decided to try a men’s 8 and a women’s 10 W side by side (well, technically, back to back during a run haha). Turns out, the men’s 8 was the same as the regular width women’s (if not tighter??) but the women’s W was perfect. It wasn’t sloppy or too wide, it gave just enough extra space across the base of my toes to make it worthwhile. I hate that there aren’t as many color choices in the W but I guess I’m running for function not style.

The Brooks Ghost are my favorites. For some reason, the 17's seem a little tighter so I purchased wide and they fit gret.

Bring Back The Ghost 16

I’ve been a fan of the Ghost shoe for years. I still cherish my Ghost 15 and Ghost 16 models. This new version does not compare and actually hurts my feet with each walk. I’ve tried and tried to like them, but the comfort is not there. Bring back the 16, please!

Not as good as previous versions. I notice rubbing on the inside edge under my ankle.

I love how comfortable they are, I wear them 8-10 hours a day and forget I’m even wearing shoes. My lower back pain has even improved since I have more support on my feet and stand up more straight.
