Not A Fan Of The Ghost 17 Changes!

I thought maybe the reviews talking about the changes in the 17s were more or less flukes, but they are spot on. The 17s are much more stiff and rigid than previous versions, and there is less cushioning. The shoe runs more narrow, too. I kept them, hoping they would break in, but after 2 months of daily walking (3-4 miles/day), they feel pretty much the same as when they came out of the box. It’s time for me to order new ones and sadly, after being a Brooks Ghost diehard for years, I’ll be looking for a different shoe.

Not The Same As Previous Versions

I've been loyal to Brooks Ghost for around 10 years, but the 17 is not the same. Narrower in the toe box than previous versions, they gave me blisters on my first run. Had to return these and switch to something else.

A die hard ghost fan here - but truly disappointed. Running in ghosts for years .. the original ghost max is the best shoe . Since then they have been such a disappointment- way too narrow and not cushioned at all .. the ghosts 17 are like trying to run on brick soles that squeeze your feet . Please Go back to the original ghost max

These shoes are amazing! I could not imagine myself running on anything else.
