I've been loyal to Brooks Ghost for around 10 years, but the 17 is not the same. Narrower in the toe box than previous versions, they gave me blisters on my first run. Had to return these and switch to something else.

A die hard ghost fan here - but truly disappointed. Running in ghosts for years .. the original ghost max is the best shoe . Since then they have been such a disappointment- way too narrow and not cushioned at all .. the ghosts 17 are like trying to run on brick soles that squeeze your feet . Please Go back to the original ghost max

The 16s are better. I’m not sure if the changes that were made but the fit and comfort level of the 16’s was perfect. I’m noticing quite a bit of foot fatigue from wearing the 17’s.
