Disappointed

I have been happily wearing Ghost for over 10 years. I especially love the wide stable base. However I’m disappointed in ghost 17. There is a now wedge cut into the sole on the outside of each heel. The heel compresses with each step and it feels as if my foot and ankle are rolling outward. Ok for casual walking, but I’m no longer recommended Ghost to friends. Hope they change the heel back for #18!

Love these. I got the extra wide and they are perfect. So much more support than ghost 16. Thanks for this great shoe

Best Running Shoe Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a huge fan of Brooks ghost for many years. They are perfect for every day comfortable footwear, but I use them for running anywhere from a 5K to a full marathon. This model is also OK for short, distant level trail running. If you’re looking for a similar shoe in the Brooks Trail version, I would recommend the Caldera. The Ghost is a super comfortable shoe that holds up in all weather. If you want a shoe that makes you feel like you’re walking on a cloud, the Brooks ghost is for you!
