Not A Replacement For The 16’s

Trained for the past 6 months in pairs of Ghost 16’s. Just finished my marathon and got a pair of the new Ghost’s to start fresh… Super disappointing, I wanted to love them but they gave me horrible blisters which I never experienced wearing the 16s. Also, the drop is not the same as the 16s? The heel fit is shallow compared to the 16s which was weird at first, but was fine once I started running in them. The cushioning felt good, but I can’t do blisters! Returned for a pair of Glycerin 22’s instead…those are yet TBD!

Disappointed with this new version of the ghost shoe. I am a longtime customer of the ghost brand. This shoe is terrible. Go back to the ghost 16! Those were perfect. Now I have to get thru the next year trying to find a new shoe I love while brooks gets there act together by hopefully making a redemption of the ghost 18 version.

A Life Saver

Perfect Running Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are perfect. They arrived in the mail on a Friday and I debuted them Saturday and Sunday in a 2 day race challenge (half marathon Sat. and 4 miler Sunday). They ran great just as the Brooks Ghost always do! Lots of support, plenty of room in the toe box, just the right amount of cushion, zero rubbing. I trusted Brooks Ghost enough to run those distances without even trialing them on a long run so that speaks of itself. Love them!
