I switched to the ghosts from another running shoe brand a few years ago, since version 14 and have always loved it. Loved the 17s so much that I’ve purchased two extra pairs to have in stock.

Disappointed- Not The Ghost Of The Past
I have been wearing the Ghost for 7 years, getting a new pair each year (and I would have given every version 5 stars). However, they changed the toe box in the Ghost 17 and it’s terrible. They rub so bad that they’ve created corns on two different toes (I’ve never had a corn before) and caused a deep multi layer blister on another toe. I run/walk 1200 miles a year and the only thing different is the shoes. Unfortunately, I’m now going to have to find a different brand to get me by until the next version is released (assuming they listen to feedback and change the design back to previous versions). Brooks- why change a good thing?? Previous versions were perfect!

Too Much Cushion For Me
New runner here and on the hunt for the right shoes when I was recommended these. I was excited to try them out but there's too much cushion at the back which makes it feel way more snug. Feels a little more on the narrow side too. Just while sitting in the car, my heels started to go numb. I've tried tying it different ways and loosening the laces as much as I can and it's not making a difference. Will be returning and trying something else.

Brooks Women’s Ghost 17 Running Shoes
I bought these a few weeks ago and I am so happy with them. I had a knee replacement a few years ago so it was important to me to have a shoe with comfort and support. These definitely have that. I will be purchasing another pair.
