Alas, I'm not a runner. I'm 89 and I have very poor balance and trouble with foot and leg pain. My doctor wants me to have strong, comfortable shoes that facilitate walking with confidence. These are perfect.

Not The Ghost It Used To Be
Didn’t know why my heels have been hurting so bad. Read other reviews and shocked to discover it was my new Ghosts! I have been wearing Ghost for 6+ years! I’m so sad that this was causing all my heel and Achilles pain! What changed?

Bring Old Ghost Design Back. The 17s Are Also Slightly Bigger In The Toe.
I have purchased women’s Ghost 14,15,16s and 17s and have always raved about these shoes to anyone who commented on how much they loved mine; however, I agree with previous review on how they changed the 17s and they are stiffer. The new DNA loft design injected with nitrogen is comfortable at first only and your legs hurt as the hours pass during the day. Something not experienced in previous editions. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it “. Please bring the old Ghost design back so I don’t have to look for new shoes. I’m in the medical field and have been a faithful Brooks customer for years.

Not The Same As Previous Ghost Shoes.
I am very disappointed in this show. I have worn the Ghost 15 & 16 which fit perfectly. The 17 is too big and not as comfortable. Unfortunately, I can not return them because I bought them more than 90 days ago but just started wearing them recently. The other complaint I have is I have to wear a wide shoe and the choices in colors are so boring. Why can't you make the fun colors in wide too. I'm tired of black and an off white that shows dirt the first time I wear them.
