Great Shoe For Running/walking!

Favorite Ghost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get so many compliments on my new Ghost 17 sneakers. Of all the Ghosts I’ve owned, these are my favorite. So comfortable. I wear them all day, inside and outside. I forget I have them on. So light.

Wish I Loved Them - New Back Design Is Uncomfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing the Ghost style since Ghost 12. I usually absolutely love them, but the redesign on the heel doesn't work for me. The cushion was comparable to Ghost in the past and supplied ample support. But the toe box is more triangular than rounded, and the same goes for the back of the shoe. The reshaped back hits my achilles differently (height-wise) and is too tight. These felt like the back of my foot was being pinched and rubbed in a weird area, leading to blisters. The lower and rounded design of the previous Ghosts is much more preferred by me.

Great Blend Of Comfort And Support

I look for a supportive shoe for my toe conditions and this one fits it- especially with the wider fit. I wouldn't have known I needed wide without trying them on first, so glad I did that. Now that I've got my fit I know I'll be sticking with the Ghost!

So Disappointed!

I have worn Brooks Ghosts for well over a decade. They saved me after lots of problems with my feet. My second pair of 15s were worn out, so I purchased a pair of Ghost 17s. I now have Achilles tendinitis in one foot and horrible heel pain in the other. I am beyond devastated, as I now have to stop exercising until this heals. In addition, I have no idea what shoe to go to now. Why oh why do you change shoes from the old ones that everyone loved?
