I look for a supportive shoe for my toe conditions and this one fits it- especially with the wider fit. I wouldn't have known I needed wide without trying them on first, so glad I did that. Now that I've got my fit I know I'll be sticking with the Ghost!

So Disappointed!
I have worn Brooks Ghosts for well over a decade. They saved me after lots of problems with my feet. My second pair of 15s were worn out, so I purchased a pair of Ghost 17s. I now have Achilles tendinitis in one foot and horrible heel pain in the other. I am beyond devastated, as I now have to stop exercising until this heals. In addition, I have no idea what shoe to go to now. Why oh why do you change shoes from the old ones that everyone loved?

Great Shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When Ghost 17 first came out I read reviews that were not positive. I was scared to try them. So I ordered the 16 to prolong switching Finally I had to try the 17’s. And I am glad I did. I find my 17’s to be comfortable and a great shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and my feet are very happy. Thank you sooo much!

Good Support Once I Found The Right Size
Good support once I found the right size! I agree with the other reviews about the wide toe box and slightly narrower fit. After trying out my normal size (6.5), I went down to a 6 and got the wide fit, and it felt much better. I use these shoes for a lot of walking and workouts at the gym, and they seem to be a good supportive shoe. Love the look of them!
