Not as comfortable as all of my previous Ghosts. Seem a little tighter in the instep and maybe a little looser in the heel area?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been an avid Brooks Ghost wearer for 8 years now and as a collegiate athlete a proper shoe is really important. I was hesitant to buy these since I heard they were a lot different than the 16's (one of my absolute favorites) but I was pleasantly surprised. I feel like these shoes are very responsive and are good for picking up pace. I tend to not like when a shoe is only good for one type of training and I feel like these are perfect for recovery and tempo paces where you aren't sprinting but might pick up the pace. Definitely would recommend but my only con is that they are a bit chunkier and that took some getting used to.

Brooks 17 Are Wonderful!
My wife absolutely loves the cushion of the new Brooks Ghost 17! The soles are so soft and great for walking, standing, etc.
