Love The G17

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic running shoes, high performing, comfortable and doesn’t rub anywhere on my toes. The Ghost 17 makes the miles fly by.

You Guys Doing Something Different?

The wide fit is perfect as always, but I find the 17 to be less supportive. I’ve been wearing Ghost for 8 years so I know what I’m talking about. Even the latest pair of Ghost Max does not feel like the supportive cushion it used to. Something changed sadly.

Size Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have trouble with size. 11 to long and 10.5 to small. 10.5 D does me best. The mens 9 was a good fit. I like the shoe. When walk it has a hard sole not so flexible. WhichbI like this. Gives better support. Wish more colors in the 10.5 D.

Worst Ghost I’ve Worn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Ghost model since 10, and this is the worst fit of them all. The shoe has progressively gotten narrower. And what I used to love was the wide toe box and almost straight last (the line from mid-heel to toes) instead of curved. The toe box is so narrow that it’s uncomfortable now and the increased curvature in the last is less accommodating for my foot. The shoe still has good cushioning, so that’s a positive. I see that the ratings for the Ghost have steadily declined over the years, making me wonder if Brooks even looks at this feedback. I hope they reverse direction on these style changes. Colors don’t matter if the shoe is uncomfortable.

Disappointed

Compared to my ghost 16’a they are too stiff. And cut into my ankle. Very disappointed been wearing since Ghost 9 I believe
