I have worn every Ghost since the 3 but this one has a narrow toe box, not wide toe box with narrow heel. I do love the new cushioning but my toes hate this shoe

Shallow Fit
I really wanted to like this shoe. I have run in all the previous Ghost running shoes and loved them all, but the Ghost 17 felt "shallow". My foot was higher in the shoe than any shoe I've ever run in. I replaced the insole with the same athletic insole as I usually do but was not comfortable running like that at all. I returned and bought another pair of the Ghost 16.

I usually order at least a half size larger because of orthotics I wear, but these seemed longer and slipped on my heel so I had to reorder in my normal size. Once I had the correct size I am very happy with this shoe.
