I love this shoe! The fit is great the support is fantastic. I have had different models of Brooks over the years and I love this model of Ghost. I feel better support under heel and arch than in past.

Better Toebox

I have worn Ghosts for a number of years. After being very disappointed in the 16s and having to return them after several runs due to the toebox redesign, I'm happy that the 17s are more like the 15s in the toebox. I have run in the 17s everyday since receiving them, and I have not experienced any major issues. I do experience some heel slip, but overall I'm pleased with the 17s.

Sloppy And Not At All Comfortable

I echo many of the other comments on how disappointing this shoe is. I wear a narrow and there is such a limited amount of choices in shoes for me. The 15 and even the 16 were good for my narrow foot, but the 17 is horrible, I can barely wear them for more than 7 hours (work in an ED and on my feet all day). The others were great, but my heel slips and the toe box on the narrow is wide. Even my legs hurt after trying to wear these. I use to wear Adrenaline, but that has also changed. There are already so few choices for those who wear narrow shoes. I originally bought 2 pair of these as narrow go fast, but ended up sending the second pair back.

Why, Brooks???

Why, Brooks??? I have worn the Ghost since the 11's. When the 16's came out, I didn't like them and bought 3 pairs of the 15's, in hopes that I could last until the 17 came out. But the 17's are even worse. Not even a Ghost anymore. And now I have run out of the 15's and can't find them anymore. I need to find a different shoe. This makes me so sad.

Very Disappointed

I have been a loyal Ghost fan since the 12s, but with each new model, the shoe loses it's charm in some way. The 15s were the last model that I could wear, as the 16s and now 17s have become painful in my arches, ankles, and knees. When wearing the 17s, I feel sloppy because my heel is elevated and feels like it's going to slip out, even with a heel lock on. I'm so upset to have to find another pair of shoes, after being so dedicated to one line. Please don't fix what isn't broken.
