I have a wide foot so finding comfortable shoes is always an issue. I also walk my dog at least 3 miles each day so it's important that I have ankle support as well. I have been wearing Brooks for more than 20 year now. They are so comfortable and they don't look wide even though I wear them in a wide width. They are good looking!! I have jumped on trends over the years and taken friends' recommendations but I ALWAYS come back to Brooks!! They are my LIFELONG sneaker for sure.

Too Much Stack Height
I loved the look of this shoe, but I don't understand why all the running shoes right now have a ridiculous stack height. I tried Hoka's first and they gave me posterior tibial tendinitis from running on slanting roads for hours... took me a year to get rid of. Now it seems all the other brands have followed suit. : ( It's too much of a drop for our ankles to be slanted the entire long run..it feels like running in 2 inch platforms.

Uncomfortable Back Tab
I've been wearing Ghost sneakers for years but these fit completely different than any other model I've worn. It felt like the back tab was crunched up or my foot wasn't all the way in the shoe no matter what I tried. They were the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever tried and I'm devastated that they won't be a staple in my closet any longer.
