Personal Opinion

So I purchased these shoes because I walk at least 6 hours a day. The first day they hurt my feet so I kept trying. I will not repurchase I’m going back to wearing Hoka. Not to mention the guy that helped me told me these were the best for walking.

Poor Color Selection

Color selection has been awful the last few years and this doesn’t look any better. I even wrote an email with my concern last year and was told my input would be sent to the design team. Obviously nothing changed. I usually am a loyal fan to the Brooks Ghost brand but the color selection is getting boring. Runners like shoes with more color.

Wide Width Is Extra Wide

I really love the color and ALMOST fit of the new 18. But a warning if you wear the Wide width... do not order it. The wide width is EXTRA wide. It is almost too large for me to keep but I hate doing returns so I will get bigger socks. If I order again I will order the Standard width since Wide is way too big. And they are a touch longer also. Ghost 17 Wide Width was perfect width.

I have been buying brooks ghosts for 15 years and this is the first version and year that I’ve been disappointed :( I wanted to love them but the change in the tongue of the shoe (it’s so big and long) and the change in style do not work for me. Unfortunately will be returning

Not A True Black.

Black/Black/Ebony is Not Black, more like a Gray. Not acceptable at work. Had to order, a different model. I prefer Ghost 15 or 14-_-

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so disappointed, I have been loyal to ghost for many years and would only wear ghost but every year it seems to get worse and worse. The 17 were bad but the 18th the worst. I was only able to wear them for about an hour and the pain in my arch and knee was unbearable. Will be returning them, so sad. Not every shoe needs to have such a thick sole

Great!!

These are pretty great!!! The 17 was awful. The 16 was ok. I'm not a runner but have worn the Ghosts for a long time. These seem slightly longer than past models but very cushy. Great for gym work outs, walking, daily wear. I REALLY wish you make darker neutral colors other than black. I plan to buy additional pairs.

Right Direction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pleased overall with the shoe on first impressions however I can’t speak to the shoes longevity etc. I find it comfortable and lightly to moderately cushioned. Very cute color way in the light peach option. I have received several compliments out in the wild. The shoe is light weight. It does run narrow. I have a narrow foot so I might have to size up a half size to get the proper fit in this one but I’m giving it a few weeks to see how I feel about it then. Obvious improvement after a week of wear over the 17.

(K)need To Breakup With The 18s

I am a total fan of the Ghost. Loved the 16s and grew to be fond of the 17s. I was excited for the 18s-new colors, new design, they seemed to check off all the boxes. At first try-on they were so comfy and seemed to be great but as a little time went on my knees began to hurt every time I wore them for any length of time. Unfortunately, I had to break up with the 18s. I'm going back to the 17s-my old tried and true. I guess new isn't always better.

Disappointed

Disappointed. Why the high stack and too plush. What’s worse is the narrow toe box. Width was good for me but that tight toe box is horrible. I’m so disappointed. Please Brooks team take this into consideration.
