Comfy Shoes For Difficult Feet!!

This is my second pair of Ghost Max shoes. I ordered the first black pair in December, recommended by my podiatrist. I have a spur growing top mid foot, a bunion and arthritis in several toes, causing much pain in walking. The ghost max shoes recommended are a wide fit with a rocker shape protecting my toes (as the front of shoe doesn’t touch down). The width enables the bunion to have room and the spur to have room. I was so pleased with the comfort of my black pair that I ordered a white pair the same very soon after. This speaks for itself! Thankyou Brooks for these great shoes.

Well Made Shoe, But Had To Return Due To Heel Slippage

This is a well constructed shoe, nice leather upper, and ticks off all the boxes I needed for a plantar plate tear (wide toe box, stiff rocker sole, moderate 6 mm heel drop). However, Brooks has one big problem: it doesn't work for women who have wide forefeet and narrow heels. The heel cup is too wide and shallow, at least compared to New Balance Fresh Foam, which hugs my heels better. Before this injury, I wore Glycerins for years, and the heel cup is now also slipping. A pity-- Brooks should address this, make a deeper heel cup, like the New Balance SL-2 last, narrower in the heel.

Comfortable And Nice Style Casual Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t find these shoes to run small. I ordered my usual Brooks size 8.5, but they feel slightly big for walking. I plan to exchange for a half size smaller. Overall, they are very comfortable for everyday walking.

Long Rode To A Fantastic Walk!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes have effective cushioning. I would have given 5 stars but .. the stitching construction and sizing were not done properly. I started with a half size up but that was too short. The footbed had such promise I went ahead and went up another size. One shoe was sewn wrong and my ankle started to hurt. I could feel a misplacement of my foot. Also I never need WIDE but the shoe rubbed my little toe. I ordered a wide in 2 sizes larger than my regular. Now I love them!!!!! I finally ended up with shoes warm for the winter that have a wonderfully comfortable footbed so my arthritic right foot do not hurt when I walk.
