Tongue Too Short And Small

Really like the cushioning and fit but the tongue is too small and short. There is nothing to grab onto to pull it up if it slides in when putting them on. The provided laces are too short. They are comfortable to wear but I hate putting them on so often opt for my old ghost max. Please go back to the original ghost max tongue.

Stylish Enough For Everyday, Comfortable Enough For 15k Steps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought these in black and ended up coming back for the white pair because I loved them that much. The white goes with basically everything, and they still have the same amazing comfort and support that made me buy a second pair in the first place. The cushioning is super soft and thick without feeling heavy, and the shape of the shoe just feels really stable and natural while walking. I average over 15,000 steps a day and these have been fantastic for that. My feet and legs feel way less fatigued at the end of the day compared to other sneakers I’ve worn. They also look clean and modern enough to wear casually with almost anything. Definitely one of my best shoe purchases in a long time.

They Ruined A Perfectly Good Shoe!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ghost max 2 was really comfy. I am super disappointed in the max 3. It's super obvious how they are lower quality. The tongue is thin and short. It hurts the top of my foot now. The heel isn't as soft either. The laces are cheap and thin. I'm so frustrated! I will probably have to find another show but the max 2 was the only thing that work for my feet so I don't know what I'm going to do now. At any rate I don't think this shoe is worth the price. I'd have rather paid more if materials are more expensive than deal with a decrease in quality. Maybe they're they're trying to make it a lighter shoe but it doesn't fit as well or comfortably anymore. I'd prefer a heavier shoe than this. I tried the normal ghost as well and the materials also feel cheap and uncomfortable

High Quality Shoe Lacking Tongue Width And Side Symbols Rubbed

I really wanted to keep these shoes but had two issues that made me send them back. First is that the tongue is made to become narrow at the top of the shoe and it was difficult to get it to cover the top of my foot without slipping to the side as I walked. Also I have a problem with the base of my small toes pushing out. The brooks symbol on the side rubbed on them and became too painful to walk so I had to return them. Wish it stopped further back.

Supportive Light Weight Running Shoe

Bought these for treadmill running. I have hallux rigidus and bunions which requires a stiffer sole and a wide toe box. These shoes meet those criteria. My go-to shoe is usually the Hoka Speedgoat for trails, but the Brooks Ghost Max have been excellent for running on the road and treadmill. Hopefully the tread wears slower than most other shoes....time will tell. Sizing was spot-on for what I usually wear. Wide and comfy with adequate, but not too much arch support.

I am very pleased with the ghost 3 I purchased from dicks. I’m on my feet for 13 hours a day. Brooks is the best~hands down

Shoes Are Fantastic!! Fedex Is A Bunch Of Idiots!

The Brooks Ghost Max 3 is the best shoe I have ever worn. Full stop. I have tried a lot of shoes over the years and nothing has come close to what these deliver in terms of comfort, support, and overall feel. From the first step it was clear these are in a different category. If you are on the fence, get off it. You will not be disappointed. Delivery is a 0 for FedEx. I want to be very clear about something: what happened to my order was entirely FedEx's fault, not Dicks Sporting Goods. My package was marked delivered, signed for by a person who does not exist at my address, and FedEx closed my case without investigation or resolution. FedEx should be ashamed of themselves. This is exactly why, whenever I have a choice, I will never voluntarily use FedEx. I would sooner trust the Pony Express. Dicks Sporting Goods had every reason to point the finger at FedEx and leave me hanging. Instead, they issued a full refund AND sent a replacement pair of shoes, no hassle, no runaround, no blame shifting. They absorbed the cost of someone else's mistake just to make a customer whole. That kind of integrity is rare and it absolutely did not go unnoticed. Dicks Sporting Goods has earned a loyal customer. I will be back.

Great After Spinal Fusion

Excellent shoe for comfort! I had a spinal fusion and bought these shoes out of the gate and have been walking in several different pair of them for 6 months. Now I'm switching up to a more stable shoe but these were great for comfort. Plus I'm on the heavy side.
