Love These Shoes

Not The Same Fit As The Regular Ghost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ghost Trail fit is nothing like the Ghost running shoe. It is narrower and longer. I tried a pair for two months and ended up returning them. Because of the extra 1/2 size up, I tripped a lot on trails. I loved the extra stability and the shoe's outside sole, but I just couldn't get used to the length. I wear a 6.5 wide. This shoe felt like a 7 Medium. I then ordered a 6W, but it was too short and felt like a size 6. I don't know what's wrong with the 6.5 size, but it doesn't work for me and I've had probably 8 pairs of the Ghost 6.5 Wide. I will say I tried the new 6.5 W Ghost 18 and found the fit more snug than the other Ghost shoes. They say they have revamped that shoe. Unfortunately, it no longer will work for me. It was not wide enough. If they make it in a WW, I guess I could try that. I'm thinking of trying a different model altogether. Frustrating!!

Same problems with Ghost road shoes. TOE BOX!! Please Brooks stop with the narrow toe box. And what’s with the high stack? Bring back the original concept of Ghost, which was always amazing.

Perfect Amount Of Support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love them. I was looking for a shoe with some support but I didn’t want the sole to absorb too much shock. I really dislike shoes that make me feel like I’m walking on a marshmallow. These are great. I feel like I can feel my feet when I walk but in a good way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased about this trail vision of the ghost! They feel great and have a nice “bouncy effect” that I love. I only wish they were a smidge wider in the toe box. Otherwise these are going to be a great shoe for my trail running this summer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worn these on concrete and the trail, I found them to be definitely better for trails. They are extremely comfortable for my wide feet (I got the 7.5 wide). I wanted to get another pair in a different color but there are no others available. Can you PLEASE make a black/black pair? 100% would purchase again.

Great Shoe

I’m a Brooks lover for life because it cured my plantar fasciitis. This shoe is a dream, fits perfectly and so comfortable as I put many miles walking on pavement and has wonderful traction for my hikes in the woods. I believe it’s even better than the standard Ghost shoe!

Great Comfort And Support

I bought these for my mom, and she has really enjoyed them so far. She mentioned that they feel very comfortable right out of the box and provide good support during walks and everyday use. The shoes are lightweight, well-cushioned, and seem to fit true to size. She also liked the overall look and color design. Overall, a great option for comfort and daily wear.

Not For High Instep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are very comfortable underfoot and feel like a typical Brooks in terms of cushioning and support. The style and colors are great as well. However, the upper runs lower in volume over the top of the foot compared to other Brooks models I’ve worn (like the Adrenaline or Ghost). I have a normal-width foot but a slightly higher instep, and the shoe felt snug across the top even when the length was correct. The tongue also didn’t fully cover the top of my foot, and I could see my socks through the eyelets, which hasn’t happened to me in other Brooks shoes. This may work well for someone with a lower-volume foot or who prefers a more locked-in fit for trails, but for me it felt too tight across the top, especially considering foot swelling during longer walks or hikes. Overall, a great-looking and well-cushioned shoe, just not the right fit for my foot shape.

Eye Guards Rub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very comfortable the one flaw is the tongue is not wide enough and slides over causing the plastic eye guards to rub on my ankle no matter what I do. they would be great shoes if the tongue was wider.

Comfortable And Cute

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable and I appreciate that they are also cute! Lots of front support and they feel like you are walking on a cloud! I got them for long walks, casual trails, and cardio at the gym. They’re a fantastic fit and I would get them again!

Not A Runner But....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shoes! I normally wear a 7.5 but based on other reviews I ordered an 8 to ensure room for thick socks. The fit is perfect, so is the arch support, stability, and amount of "cush". And they look good! 5 stars all the way!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the Ghost Trail is great on the trails for my hikes! I went a half size up since that is what i normally do and they are perfect for a thicker sock or any swelling after long hikes. I am loving them so far

Good Option For Narrow Feet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice but whatever Brooks has done to change their shoes these are too narrow. Painfully narrow. The last pair that I bought that were comfortable were the Ghost 13. I love their shoes but probably won’t be purchasing again because the few options for wide are not as nice.
