Not For High Instep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are very comfortable underfoot and feel like a typical Brooks in terms of cushioning and support. The style and colors are great as well. However, the upper runs lower in volume over the top of the foot compared to other Brooks models I’ve worn (like the Adrenaline or Ghost). I have a normal-width foot but a slightly higher instep, and the shoe felt snug across the top even when the length was correct. The tongue also didn’t fully cover the top of my foot, and I could see my socks through the eyelets, which hasn’t happened to me in other Brooks shoes. This may work well for someone with a lower-volume foot or who prefers a more locked-in fit for trails, but for me it felt too tight across the top, especially considering foot swelling during longer walks or hikes. Overall, a great-looking and well-cushioned shoe, just not the right fit for my foot shape.

Comfortable And Cute

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable and I appreciate that they are also cute! Lots of front support and they feel like you are walking on a cloud! I got them for long walks, casual trails, and cardio at the gym. They’re a fantastic fit and I would get them again!

Not A Runner But....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shoes! I normally wear a 7.5 but based on other reviews I ordered an 8 to ensure room for thick socks. The fit is perfect, so is the arch support, stability, and amount of "cush". And they look good! 5 stars all the way!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the Ghost Trail is great on the trails for my hikes! I went a half size up since that is what i normally do and they are perfect for a thicker sock or any swelling after long hikes. I am loving them so far

Good Option For Narrow Feet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice but whatever Brooks has done to change their shoes these are too narrow. Painfully narrow. The last pair that I bought that were comfortable were the Ghost 13. I love their shoes but probably won’t be purchasing again because the few options for wide are not as nice.

Excellent Trail Shoes

I used it on the Camino de Santiago Compostela and once broken in properly, it was my favorite to use. It offered support and traction for those uphills and downhills.

Feet Feel Good

Love these shoes for trail walking. Very comfortable and supportive. Roomy toe box for extended comfort.

Nice Trail Shoes

Brooks Are The Best Running Shoes.

Good Alternative To Caldera Except For One Tiny Thing

I've been running in Brooks trail shoes for the last 15 years or so, and these are on par with the Caldera model that I couldn't find during my last replacement. They have the same cushioning, which I need for the arthritis in my toes (ugh), and support as the Caldera. The only missing element is the lace strap to tuck in the tied laces. That's a weird omission and something I would like to see again. Otherwise, this shoe hits all the points of Caldera - super cushioning, great response, lightweight, durable trail shoe.

Ghost Trail Perfect For Light Hiking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I am not a runner, Brooks Ghost are my favorite shoes for walking, light hiking, and working out at the gym. So when I discovered there was a trail model, I was excited to try it out for my trip this summer to Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe among other areas. Like my two other pairs of Brooks Ghost, these fit perfectly and feel like walking on a cloud. They are just right for a combination of sightseeing and light hiking. These shoes are a perfect complement to my high top boots for more rugged trails.
