Too Much Cushioning Made Them Unstable For Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a huge fan of Brook’s and have 3-4 pairs that have been great over the years. I thought these would work out perfectly for a 4 day universal studios/epic trip with tons of walking. I wore them around the house, treadmill, dog walks and thru the airport. They never made the cut for the parks. No matter which socks or different insoles i tried. The sole was so think that i could not get any real grip or traction. The heel was too wide and made my ankle feel very loose and unsupported. I will be returning these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They were fine. They are a bit too squishy inside for my preference. I can also already tell that the inside softness/squishness will be going away quickly and when that happens they will probably be fairly uncomfortable as they were made for comfort with that cushioning in mind. The arch support also feels less prominent than in other brooks I have had over the years.

Comfortable & Stability For Long Walking Days.

Glycerine = Best Everyday Runner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now have the Ghost 16, Glycerine 22, the Glycerine Stealthfit, the Glycerine Max 1, and Glycerine Max 2 and I can honestly say the Glycerine 22s are the best everyday shoe. They are roomy enough for my slimmer feet in the toe box and also have enough cushion to support 10+ mile efforts. I am starting to buy them in my long run rotation but overall you can’t beat the versatility of these shoes.
