Short Distance Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love these shoes, mostly because I love the way they look, but these didn’t work for me. When I first tried these on I thought they felt amazing and my first short distance run felt pretty good too. I finally understood what it meant for a shoe to feel responsive, it felt like the shoe gripped the road under my feet! Unfortunately, six miles into a run I began feeling hot spots under my big toe and ball of my foot. By 11 miles I had developed horrible blisters and couldn’t wait to get the shoes off my feet. I thought it could be the socks? I wanted these shoes to work so I tried three different types of socks, including brooks running socks, but I continue to develop blisters. I’ve kept the shoes for quick 2-3 mile runs but I can’t go any further in them.

I used to buy the Stealthfit religiously and bought these to replace since those were discontinued. This is a good replacement, BUT the tongue of the shoe bothers me. They added a seam to the tongue instead of having It lie flat in the knit material so you have to maw sure that it’s flat before you run otherwise it’s annoying. Otherwise a pretty decent replacement

Great Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very light during runs. Not sore in feet during or after and they don’t rub. Enough room in the toes
