Not The Same As Past Shoes

Not sure what changed, but my normal size 9w did not fit. I'm not sure if I would need to go up on both the length and width. Weird because my old shoes fit fine and I've lost weight, so surely my foot hasn't gotten bigger.

Best Shoes Ive Owned

These are actually the best running shoes I have ever owned. The cushioning is perfect even for road running and they don’t break down insanely quick. Different feel than the Glycerin GTS 22 but I personally like these better!

MeghanM

I’m a nurse on my feet 12 hours a day and I never used to invest in my shoes then my feet have become so painful (17 years in) but these shoes have helped immensely l. Very comfortable, great support!

The Worst Blisters

I’ve been a Brooks supporter for years and have worn so many different models — ghost & glycerin being my favorites. This model of Glycerin’s, however, have given me the worst blisters I’ve ever had on the inside arch of my foot. I thought maybe it was because they weren’t broken in but it’s now been 3 months with no relief. I loved my old Glycerins and I’m not quite sure why this model rubs on that particular spot so badly. I end every long run with massive blisters. Don’t recommend.

Better Than The Ghost Series

I switched from the Ghost series and these are great! Very supportive, I only wish the mesh wasn’t so weak, and the toe more shielded for wet weather. I work in LTC, and while giving a shower, random black stuff was coming off the toe of my shoes. You will wonder why I didn’t go with a waterproof option- 1) they weren’t available 2) some shoe makers substitute weatherproofing for comfort so I’m skeptical. This series has provided more comfort and less foot pain during/after long shifts, so for now I’ll stick with these.
