First Time Hating The Glycerin Gts 22

I absolutely abhor the new design and had to switch to another brand. I wore these about 5-6 times and every single time I ran in them, my feet hurt within minutes, my legs hurt and I couldn't maintain my normal speeds. I've work the GTS for several years now (switching out every six months) so I bought these without trying them on because I've been through several iterations just fine. The back near the heel rubs in a weird way and makes it feel like my socks are falling and I don't know what changed for the stability but I'm not exaggerating when I say my feet hurt within literal minutes of starting to run in these. I switched to an older pair and a pair of another brand I wear and my feet didn't hurt in any of them except for these "improved" 22s. :(

Break In Takes A While

I wear these shoes on a daily basis. They are taking a while to break in but overall not bad. I did prefer the brooks traces I had last.

Just Ok

Just ok - I was hoping for more cushioning. The ghost max series is better, will be returning for that. They were very slippery on even slightly damp concrete.

Read reviews correct in saying runs small. Ordered 1/2 size up. Nice cushion & not heavy.

Glycerine wearer for many years (6-8 prs a year). 22 has a narrower toe box which made it not only uncomfortable to wear, it caused toe bruising and painful skin pinching. I switched from med width to wide and while that took care of the toe box it is loose around the heel and I'm frantically lacing them to feel right. Please Im begging you for Glycerine 23 make the toe box like it used to be. Everyone says switch to Hoka's but I have relied on Brooks Glycerine for at least the last 10 years. Thanks! Brooks Loyalist
