[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a fan of the Brooks Hyperion 2, but the Hyperion 3 feels like a completely different shoe. The fit, ride, and overall feel are noticeably changed, and unfortunately not for the better. After switching to the Hyperion 3, I developed knee pain and foot discomfort that I never experienced in the Hyperion 2. The new version feels softer and less responsive, and it doesn't provide the same natural, fast feel that made the Hyperion 2 such a great running shoe. If you loved the Hyperion 2, don't expect the Hyperion 3 to be a direct replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Hyperion 2 and these are awful in comparison. My toes were jammed in the toe box and after only a short run, it felt like I had broken my big toe. I am in need of new shoes and have tried multiple other Brooks but cannot find anything I like. Please bring back the Hyperion 2!

I have been a loyal Hyperion wearer for years. The 3 version is the worst one yet and don’t understand why you can’t keep to the traditional 1/2 model. I have had foot pain due to the extreme snugness of the shoe despite loosening laces multiple times (also have very narrow feet). I love Brooks but please stop making the Hyperion worse with each version.

The Hyperion 2 (I also loved the Hyperion 1) is my favorite go to sneaker for lots of walking and also working out. The Hyperion 3 is nothing like the 2 sadly. I have thin, narrow feet and I could barely get my foot in the shoe. I take the same size sneaker across all brands and types. The Hyperion 3 is too small in my regular size. My big toe was at the very end of the shoe. Then, there is the weird thing sticking off the back of the shoe. I got my foot stuck walking down the stairs in my house! See pictures for comparison to a new pair of Hyperion 2 I was smart enough to have bought in advance and stashed away in my closet. I actually liked the flexible tongue in this shoe. The 3 is heavier than the 1&2 unfortunately, another huge drawback. Please, please, please bring back Hyperion 1 or 2!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved for cross training Comfy enough to run in, sturdy enough to lift in Nice and flat, minimal wiggling with single side work (lunges, squats, etc)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving these shoes! They have a springy feel that keep my legs energized to keep going. They just feel like they are hugging my feet. Also the tongue is all one piece that connects to the sole of the shoes! No sliding off to the sides!!

I don't think they are as comfortable as the Ghost series. I tried something new and should have stuck with the ones I always buy. Had them on for 3 hours last night and was not as much cushion as I had hoped for.

The nightglow Hyperion 3 look great and are soft underfoot, however the front of the foot is quite tight, so they are a bit smaller than other Brooks of the same size. Hoping they will stretch a bit so I can get more miles out of them.

This update is trash. I don't want high stack height shoes. Brooks sucks this year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am about 25 miles into this shoe and loving it so far. My longest run is 8.5 (9:50 pace) and I felt so light in them. I have been a Ghost runner for the last 5 years, so this was a nice change of foot wear for me. I have a fairly neutral foot and haven’t had any issues so far. I will edit if anything changes, but happy so far!

The Hyperion 3 is ok, and do the job, but liked the Hyperion 2 much better. It had better response and more comfortable. The 3's feel like they have more cushion. Not a fan of that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable, supportive and light-weight. Brooks are always my sneaker of choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ran in the Hyperion 2 years ago and fell in love the moment I laced them up. I was hopeful the 3’s would have a similar feeling. They felt good initially and were lightweight. I found the toe box to be too narrow and uncomfortable. Ultimately am in the process of returning them and wishing they were the Hyperion 2

I returned these. I couldn't even finish my run in them because they hurt my feet so much. Too short and narrow in the toebox so my toes were cramped and started getting pins & needles. Also hit my arch in a weird way. I was skeptical as soon as I saw them in person and compared them next to my Hyperion 2s which I LOVE. A lot more cushioning, a lot heavier and overall larger. But I thought - these guys are the shoe experts, if they made changes it will be for the better, right? So it was a very disappointing experience. This kind of change is enough to make me lose faith in a brand. If you have any Hyperion 2s hiding in a backroom somewhere please send them my way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the cushion of the sole, but they were so tight in the foot box that I had to return them (I have a narrow foot too).
