Good Cushion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice light weight shoe. Good cushion and response. A bit narrow but works for my foot.

Why Did You Break The Hyperion 2

The theme seems to be if you loved the Hyperion 2 you hate the 3 and if you never got to experience the 2, you love the 3. I’m in the “will there ever be a shoe like the 2 made by anybody ever again.” I’ve tried the 3 multiple times and tried to like it and I just can’t. The 8.5 is too short, the 9 is too long. I have a narrow foot (but buy regular width) and it feels too narrow on me. And why does it have so much padding around the ankle? Seems like a tendonitis disaster in the making. The 2 was the perfect shoe and the 3 feels weirdly padded and clunky with none of the sleek, just-makes-you-want-to-run feel of the 2.

Simple, Balanced, And Surprisingly Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m honestly not sure why these have a lower rating because I really like them. I have the 2024 Hyperion Speed that I use as my vacation running shoe and have loved those, so when it came time to replace my everyday runners, these felt like an easy choice. The fit is great (I normally wear a 7 but sized up to a 7.5), and the cushioning is a perfect balance—not too much, not too little. I’m a forefoot/midfoot runner, so I’ll be honest that they did take a little breaking in, but after about 20 miles they felt just right. I wear them 1–2 times a week for easy runs and have been really happy with them. I’d definitely recommend these, especially if you don’t want to run in big, super-foamy shoes.

Loved The Hyperion 2, Disappointed By The Hyperion 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a fan of the Brooks Hyperion 2, but the Hyperion 3 feels like a completely different shoe. The fit, ride, and overall feel are noticeably changed, and unfortunately not for the better. After switching to the Hyperion 3, I developed knee pain and foot discomfort that I never experienced in the Hyperion 2. The new version feels softer and less responsive, and it doesn't provide the same natural, fast feel that made the Hyperion 2 such a great running shoe. If you loved the Hyperion 2, don't expect the Hyperion 3 to be a direct replacement.

Please Bring Back The Hyperion 2!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Hyperion 2 and these are awful in comparison. My toes were jammed in the toe box and after only a short run, it felt like I had broken my big toe. I am in need of new shoes and have tried multiple other Brooks but cannot find anything I like. Please bring back the Hyperion 2!

Each Release Declines

I have been a loyal Hyperion wearer for years. The 3 version is the worst one yet and don’t understand why you can’t keep to the traditional 1/2 model. I have had foot pain due to the extreme snugness of the shoe despite loosening laces multiple times (also have very narrow feet). I love Brooks but please stop making the Hyperion worse with each version.

Awful Remake Of The Perfect Shoe

The Hyperion 2 (I also loved the Hyperion 1) is my favorite go to sneaker for lots of walking and also working out. The Hyperion 3 is nothing like the 2 sadly. I have thin, narrow feet and I could barely get my foot in the shoe. I take the same size sneaker across all brands and types. The Hyperion 3 is too small in my regular size. My big toe was at the very end of the shoe. Then, there is the weird thing sticking off the back of the shoe. I got my foot stuck walking down the stairs in my house! See pictures for comparison to a new pair of Hyperion 2 I was smart enough to have bought in advance and stashed away in my closet. I actually liked the flexible tongue in this shoe. The 3 is heavier than the 1&2 unfortunately, another huge drawback. Please, please, please bring back Hyperion 1 or 2!!!!!!!

Favorite Brooks I Own- Perfect For Cross Training

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved for cross training Comfy enough to run in, sturdy enough to lift in Nice and flat, minimal wiggling with single side work (lunges, squats, etc)

Fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving these shoes! They have a springy feel that keep my legs energized to keep going. They just feel like they are hugging my feet. Also the tongue is all one piece that connects to the sole of the shoes! No sliding off to the sides!!

Not The Best From Brooks

I don't think they are as comfortable as the Ghost series. I tried something new and should have stuck with the ones I always buy. Had them on for 3 hours last night and was not as much cushion as I had hoped for.

Hyperion 3

The nightglow Hyperion 3 look great and are soft underfoot, however the front of the foot is quite tight, so they are a bit smaller than other Brooks of the same size. Hoping they will stretch a bit so I can get more miles out of them.

Hyperion 3 Is Trash

This update is trash. I don't want high stack height shoes. Brooks sucks this year.

Great Shoe Moving From A Ghost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am about 25 miles into this shoe and loving it so far. My longest run is 8.5 (9:50 pace) and I felt so light in them. I have been a Ghost runner for the last 5 years, so this was a nice change of foot wear for me. I have a fairly neutral foot and haven’t had any issues so far. I will edit if anything changes, but happy so far!

Like The 2's Better

The Hyperion 3 is ok, and do the job, but liked the Hyperion 2 much better. It had better response and more comfortable. The 3's feel like they have more cushion. Not a fan of that.

Great Sneaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable, supportive and light-weight. Brooks are always my sneaker of choice!
