Not A Fan

Love the cushioning and height. Generally comfortable but the sock-like fit around ankle and stiff materials around back of heel made the fit too rigid for me. I was hoping this would replace my Hyperion 2 but unfortunately the materials did not work for me. I transitioned to Adrenaline for now until the next Hyperion series (which I remain committed to).

Hyperion Max 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hyperion Max 3 is amazing, light, comfortable, performs well! I am pleased with this shoe, as my first experience running in Brooks as a 25 year runner!

Favorite Running Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best running shoe, ever! So much more comfortable than the Elite. I love the cushion and spring-y-ness of this shoe. Just ran a half-marathon, and it was super comfortable throughout training and the race.

Comfort, Front Propulsion, No Heel Slippage, Major Cushion; Great Looks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent! I sized up from 8 to 8.5 for my orthotics, and it’s a perfect fit for me. Due to the inside the heel cushioning, I feel these Brooks are sized one half size short, so size up a half size. I wasn’t sure I’d like the inside the heel cushions at first. They took a few times out getting used to them, but now I love the way they hug my heel and keep in from moving about inside the shoes. No slippage. Great feature! I bought the bright crimson and they are a showstopper. I get lots of comments on their comfort due to the high rocker sole. The transfer while fast walking and running is excellent, and it truly does propel me quicker with less effort. At 72, any little help is appreciated. I look forward to my daily 3-5 mile walk runs, and these keep my knees from hurting at all. Really love that!!Plenty of toe wiggle room, which is important to me, and why I switched to Brooks. Just picked up my fourth pair. Hyperion Max 3 are my fave’s so far.

Great Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really happy with the Brooks Hyperion Max 3. They’re super comfortable right out of the box, and the lightweight feel makes running in them feel easy and natural. The cushioning has a great spring to it—responsive without being too soft—so each step feels smooth with a nice bit of bounce. I’m currently coming back from a meniscus root repair and just started running again, and these have been perfect for getting back into it. They’re supportive without feeling heavy, and the smooth, springy ride gives me a lot more confidence as I build my strength and mileage back up. Definitely a solid choice if you want something light, comfortable, and responsive.

Pb Shoes

I was surprised how much cushioning these shoes have. They are very similar to another competitor's running shoe. They are very comfortable to run in for fast runs. The toe box is a little narrow so I sized up half a size. Brooks is definitely on point with these runners if you are looking for something with soft cushioning and fast. It would be great if they were a little lighter as they are a heavier shoe. But overall definitely a great runner.

Don’t Hesitate To Buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Obsessed with these shoes….completely obsessed. I have ran two races in them so far and had a 20 minute PR in my marathon and 6 min PR in my half Marathon. they are comfortable and better than the Nike alphyflys.

Race Day Shoe!

Have been through multiple generations of the Hyperion and each time they get speedier! Trained and ran a marathon in these so they definitely are versatile. That being said, they run smaller than other Hyperions and I had to size up 0.5 size from 8W to 8.5W to get enough room in the toebox. Minimal chafing, although there is a stiffer portion of the toebox right where the big toe is. This caused me some discomfort when breaking them in. Another note is that (like with many other Brooks shoes), they lasted me about 300 miles and did not have much tread left at the end :) Overall, solid shoe and I already bought a second pair for speed workouts!

Completely Different Running Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They fit perfect and I wore them right out of the box for a decent run and had no “break in period”. No friction spots, soft upper, sole is like a cloud and with the sole and carbon plate, they are so responsive. I feel like o have a quicker stride and turnover. I’ve been a Brooks wearer for decades and these are THE most comfortable shoes I’ve ever run in. But, I have only worn them for a couple of speed workouts. I am saving them for my marathon.

Running Happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite running shoes I’ve ever worn. I am prone to shin and Achilles issues and these shoes have kept my lower legs happy for 350 miles so far!
