Bought For Speed Advantage.
I bought these shoes to replace my Launch 9's which are showing wear around the heel edges. I picked them because of their light weight and plan to use them when I run actual races and not for training. I am using my recently purchased Hyperion 3 for training. The Hyperion 3 replaced my Hyperion Tempo shoes which I Loved!

Nice, Lighter, Yet Comfortable Run!
I really enjoy running in these. I really don’t feel like it’s quite as speed driven as the Hyperion Max were. They have the perfect amount of firm cushion. You don’t feel like your tap dancing on the road, but it also isn’t squishy where there is extra effort needed when running. They are still pretty lightweight and comfortable. I ran 5 miles right out of the box. Although I can see people saying they needed a couple of break in days. The toebox is slightly smaller than the max, but loosened up by the third run. I am now alternating between these and the discontinued Hyperion max. Would like this one to not be discontinued. I will not choose a sneaker that is 8 ounces or heavier. Would be nice for Brooks to keep a variety of lighter shoes available for road running.
