Perfect!

I tried this for the first time this morning and it was perfect. It was 24 degrees and dark and I did a little over 8 miles. I wore a base long-sleeve shirt and the thermal hoodie and was comfortable the entire run. I wore the thermal tights as well. The watch notch and hand covers are amazing and I wore the hood the entire run. No wind got inside the hood, it stayed in place throughout, and didn’t rub. I was warm without bulk which is really nice. I’m 5’4” and 135 lbs. I bought a medium but I’m going to try a small too just to see if I like it snugger. I’m really impressed with how comfortable and functional this hoodie is. I’m 45 with 3 kids and I run when I can, not when temps or weather is good. I feel really confident heading into winter runs that my training for the spring race will be comfortable. Absolutely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Women's Notch Thermal Hoodie 3.0 regularly, and it's worked well for my needs. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and I’ve found it suitable for everything from light workouts to running errands. It keeps me warm without holding onto sweat, which I really appreciate. The watch window is a standout feature. It takes away the usual discomfort of wearing a watch under long sleeves and makes it easy to check the time or stats without pulling the sleeve up or exposing your skin to the cold. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference. The thumbholes help keep the sleeves in place and add a bit of extra coverage, and the reflective trim on the back is great for staying visible during early morning or evening runs—especially in areas where there’s vehicle traffic on my runs. I was hopeful about the antimicrobial treatment, since I deal with odor issues, especially in the underarm area. While the hoodie is treated to help prevent smells, I still noticed odor even during light activity and casual wear, which was disappointing. Overall, the hoodie is well-designed with several thoughtful features, but the odor control didn’t quite meet my expectations.

Really Nice For Cool (Not Cold) Weather Runs

It's a really nice material especially inside where it's soft but not fuzzy enough to add to absorb sweat. The style is fitted but true to size - I usually wear a medium to large top and this medium was form-fitting on me. I may consider sizing up if you want to wear more layers underneath. The jacket alone is perfect for cooler weather runs with a base layer but probably not enough for cold cold runs. I like the high neck zipper to keep my neck warm and to keep the hood up. Plus the sleeves fold over for built-in mittens! For added safety in the dark, there is a small reflective logo on the chest, and two reflective stripes on the back. The watch window is convenient but it is only on the left arm which may not work for everyone.

Very Comfortable And Keeps Me Warm!

As the weather is cooling down and I can now increase my daily work out and running, the hoodie keeps me warm and comfortable. The fabric is true to size, has a great style and fit. It not only looks really smart but also keeps my skin protected from tanning in the day time and warm in the cooler evenings. The thumb holes are very convenient to keep the sleeves in place, slipping on my palms or moving up. It’s a great idea to include those in the design. The hoodie is has a reflective trim on the back which allows visibility at night thereby keeping me safe. I also noticed that even though I did walking and running with the hoodie on, there was no odor. The antibacterial treatment works wonders for those who love strenuous exercises. I also like the fact that even after several washes the fabric quality has remained intact. Overall, a great hoodie top with innovative features, smart, stylish design and very smart fit. I’m really loving it!
