Not Made For Anyone Who's Gone Through Pregnancy Or Values Breathing Deeply

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot begin to describe just how much I hate this trend of Brooks' sewing inch-wide elastic that's tighter than the tights themselves into the top of a high-rise compression waistband. The core is a pressure management system that extends from the pelvic floor to the roof of the mouth, and that elastic is like putting a rubber band around the middle of a balloon, rendering it unable to inflate and deflate properly. In my 20s, I would have found it uncomfortable for running but probably would have lived with it; as someone with diastasis recti postpartum in my 40s, absolutely not. In addition to the interior elastic (sewn in, I've tried on other similar tights to cut the waistband open with the thought of cutting out the elastic, and you can't do it without taking the whole waistband apart and then sewing it back together), the drawstring is flimsy. Size L fit me perfectly except for the elastic and was otherwise very comfortable - if it weren't for the elastic, I would have kept and probably loved them. Size XL was way too big and I had to cinch the drawstring all the way to get an okay fit through the waist and was afraid I was going to snap the drawstring trying to get it tight enough. This is the second pair of tights I've ordered from Brooks this year to find this added elastic in without it being mentioned in the product description, and I'm done with Brooks tights for a while as a result.

Favorite Pant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a pant that stays put with any activity! I am so impressed - the inner drawstring works just as it should to tighten up and hold in place. The length of the pant is also perfect, even for a tall girl like me (5’9). I wear these pants every single day for all types of workouts and am buying more as soon as I can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love them. I used the sizing chart but they feel a bit large at the waist. The thin elastic drawband could be wider or a different style to make pants feel more secure as you are running. Sometimes feels loose at waist even when drawn toght. Otherwise, I love the feel of them .

Size Fits

I tend to be inbetween sizes on leggings that I like a medium to feel comfy but if I’m going to run I need a small so they don’t slide down. These are a small and they’re both comfy AND stay put during a run. I’m 5’6” and 135.

These are excellent pants to work out in. Comfortable and of excellent quality. They were a little short for me, and I probably should have gone down a size. Nonetheless, these are excellent and I will purchase additional colors.

I really like the way the spark tights fit. They are pretty snug in the waist and don’t fall down at all when running so I don’t lose my mind constantly pulling them up! I used the size chart and ordered the recommended size.

Excellent! Great material and feels wonderful, very well made. Length and fit as expected. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I wish the drawstring was a little more robust to lock in, especially when my phone is on the side pocket, tugging things down. But these pants are awesome.

Fits perfect love the pockets on the left, on the right side and the hidden one on the back side and I am very short

Didn't Love The Tight

Sadly had to return these and never ran in them. I love the Spark shorts but for some reason, these didn't fit the same through waist, hip and thigh.

Love Them!

Quite possibly my very favorite running leggings. Stay in place, nice compression! I love this color, but it does show sweat on the long runs. 😂

For Workouts

The fit is good, though a bit long for my 5’1” height. The waist band feels solid and it does in place throughout my strength training class. That’s important to me. The knees don’t pucker and the finish on the seams makes it comfortable.

Awesome Tights

These are great! My husband bought me a pair and I came back to buy two more. Stays put when I run, plus I really like the new ocean heather drive color. And of course, yay for pockets! FWIW, I’m in between a medium and a large in terms of sizing and I’m wearing a medium in these. They are stretchy and forgiving but I have no doubt they will continue to fit well for months to come as I continue losing weight.
