The Cup I Want To Love
I was really excited about the BruMate Era tumbler and overall I do like it — but I wouldn’t call it perfect.First, the cup is definitely heavier than expected, especially once filled. It’s not uncomfortable to carry, but you notice the weight. It does keep drinks cold extremely well, and the straw system is genuinely great — I love having both the metal straw and the SoftSip silicone option. It also fits nicely in cup holders and the design is cute.As for the “leak-proof” claim — I’d call it mostly leak-proof. I do toss it into my bag pretty confidently day-to-day, but I’ve had two leaks:• Once when I showed someone it wouldn’t leak... and it did 🙃• Once when I added flavor packets and shook it (lid was fully screwed on and in the closed position)They weren’t catastrophic spills, but enough to remind me it isn’t 100% foolproof — especially if you shake it or pressure builds up inside.My biggest complaint is the lid can be really hard to remove at times, and I don’t fully understand why. That part is consistently annoying.Overall: cute, cold-keeping champ with a cool straw system, but heavier than I want and not quite the stress-free “totally leakproof” experience the marketing promises. I still use it regularly — I just don’t fully trust it like I hoped I would.Although I own the Onyx Leopard in the 16oz mug (love the print), my 40oz Era tumbler is the Phantom Paisley pattern (which is apparently no longer available). This review is for the cup itself — not the design or colorway.

Perfect For Halloween!
