Sadly, Not As Good As The Old

My husband's lid cracked on his Toddy, which Brumate no longer carries and this was the closest thing. After having both (and still having one toddy), I can say this one does not keep liquid hot nearly as long and we are not a fan of the Octolock. It is difficult to get the lid off and if there's any liquid left in the mug it makes it extra hard to not spill anything on you (we used to use our mug to take hot water to warm a baby bottle in while traveling so we couldn't just pour it out of the spout to empty before removing the lid). We much preferred the threaded lid, even if it aligned weird with the handle (either too close or too far depending on the side). The best thing about this mug, and why we will likely continue to use Brumate over the other brands is the locking, no leak, lid. It is by far superior and I have not seen any other brand have anything similar. It can be thrown in a bag or on the seat next to you without fear of the spout cap being knocked open and coffee getting everywhere.

Love This Mug!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is now one of my favorite mugs. I color is incredibly cute. Most important, it is leak resistant. I can actually put it in my work bag and not have to worry about leaks. I feel secure in that knowledge. I have ruined manuals in the past with coffee and tea spills. I plan to purchase these for gifts in the future.
