I got this knife as a 16th birthday present in 2010 from Dick's in Fairfax, Va. This is the fixed blade I learned to sharpen with, cleaned everything from catfish to turkey with. I have also used it while doing food prep as well. It is pretty easy to sharpen up and holds an edge well enough. It is sturdy and shows its wear but I will be able to pass it down through my family eventually. I like the sheath, it just rides a little high on the belt. The sheath drains well if you're out in wet conditions. It is not a great bushcraft knife, but a good all rounder. Overall I would recommend this knife to anybody looking for a good classic knife that won't hurt your wallet too bad.
