12mm Thru-Axles will require Burley’s adapted Thru-Axle. This replacement axle has external threading to accommodate the installation of our axle mounted hitches.
I have an electric fat-tire bike with a rear hub motor that I bought the hitch for. It fits perfect over a fairly large hub axle with no modifications.

Steel Hitch
I bought a slightly used Burley Nomad off of FB Marketplace to pull with my recumbent trike. Since a trike has steeper angled rear dropouts I needed this to connect the trike to the trailer. It works great!

It Fits And Was Easy To Install!
I inherited an old Burley trailer and was unsure if I would be able to find parts that worked with my newer mountain bike, but this hitch and the flex connector did the trick! It was easy to install and very easy to hook on the trailer. The parts are a tad expensive for what they are, but I'm sure they'll last for decades.
