I used these Burton gloves exactly once while moving firewood outdoors. Not sharp tools. Not machinery. Just normal, basic, everyday outdoor work that gloves like this are absolutely supposed to handle. After that single use, the inner lining on the fingers completely shredded and started shedding fibers everywhere. The inside of the glove looks destroyed while the outside still looks mostly fine, which honestly makes it worse. The failure is entirely in the materials and construction. Moving wood is not abuse. It is not extreme use. It is the bare minimum expectation for an outdoor glove. If a glove cannot survive that, it has no business being sold at this price point or under a brand like Burton. This feels like a quality control issue or cost cutting that went too far. Either way, it is unacceptable. I expected durability. What I got was a glove that looks like it has been through a full season after one afternoon.

These gloves are well made and do a great job of keeping my hands warm. The one detraction is that they are not quite as flexible as I would have hoped, so sometimes I need to take one off to perform a task like texting or unlocking a door.
