When they say this mat is made for hot yoga, they really mean it! I've been using it 4–5 times a week for my hot yoga classes, and it's been fantastic. It is a bit on the heavier side, but I actually don’t mind that. I'm used to softer mats, so this one feels a bit firm on my wrists, but the grip is absolutely incredible. I sweat a lot, and this mat absorbs moisture quickly without becoming slippery. It’s also super easy to clean. Overall, I’m really impressed—especially at this price point. My only wish is that it came in a larger size.

Petroleum Smell Off It
Mat if fine as grip is concerned, BUT the new smell of petroleum that it gives off, is horrible, made me nauseated for a few hot Yoga classes.

Great All Around Yoga Mat
Probably the best yoga mat I’ve ever owned and I’ve had some of the higher end mats. The grip is fantastic and it’s supportive without being too thick. I also think the price point is respectable for the quality you get.

Good Grip, Low Cushion
I used this as a cross mat under my thicker mat just for odd angles, and it's basically a sticky floor, not much cushioning.

Not A Good Match For Carrying
I was very disappointed when I got my Calia yoga mat. It was very hard and heavy to carry. I returned it.
