As the packaging tape was removed from the ends of the mat, it started removing a layer of the mat material. So, either the mat is poorly made, or the packing tape is too strong. Either way, the mat is being returned. I cannot speak to the performance of the mat.

I was comparing this mat to another Calia mat that was just a little more. I really like the mat i chose but do wish i had spend just a bit more to get the other one.
