Size Down, Maybe Twice

I'm usually between S and M for shorts in places like Nike and Aerie because I got a dumpy. However when I got this and held it up, it looked like a L when it was an S. So maybe size down twice? The material felt like it would have lots of wrinkles (and it did), however if it's cheap for you it's still worth getting, just make sure to size down.
