Was This Made For A Child?

I bought this a month ago thinking it would be comfortable and keep the sun off my face. I bought the style that has the elasticized ponytail cut out. Every time I have tried to wear it, it compresses and slides up my head. It looks ridiculous and there's no way to get it to fit right. Since there's only one size, I think it's a design flaw or is made for women with teeny tiny heads
