Rated 4 out of 5 by from Go far irons Well after spending close to $1,300 on this set of irons and playing two rounds with them, I can say that these irons have a huge high flight path with soft landings. Huge fan! However, not all is amazing with them. The finish after two rounds on my wedges are scuffed off. Seriously how thick is that classified paint? Now I believe that the look does not affect my shot at all, but I want to show off these irons to playing partners, but i am embarrassed by how they look. It's up to you, $1,300 and irons that WILL improve your game, but look like they are from your neighbors garage sale or, stick with your ping irons that you hate and keep shooting high 80's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Paint Finish Similar to some other reviews, I have played 4 rounds with these new irons. They already look like I have had them for years. The finish does not hold up from ball striking. They show every wear mark just hitting off grass. The face of the club finish has already faded. Definitely not worth the $1200 I spent for these irons. I am very disappointed that Callaway would sell irons for this price and I am ready to return them. The performance of the irons are outstanding; distance and direction. Callaway needs to perfect the paint finish to ensure the face does not scratch and fade. I have had Callaway wedges (60, 56, 52) with silver finish for 5 years and no scratches. Callaway needs to fix this issue and do a recall on the irons.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Finish I have played a total of 5 rounds with my knew clubs. They already looks as if I have had them for 5 years. The finish does not hold up from ball striking. They show every wear mark. The finish has already faded. Definitely not worth the 1500 I spent for my first brand new set of clubs. So disappointed. Not to mention that the clubs are slightly longer than standard length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These irons have increased my distance I purchased a new set of left hand Callaway Big Bertha Irons and I am very thrilled with their performance so far. I made two trips to the driving range and hit several buckets of balls testing each club. I previously had a set of steel head irons from Callaway and new Big Bertha I have found have increased my distance with each club. I played a full round and found the distance was remarkable actually causing me to rethink my distances with these new clubs. The sound and feel is pleasing as well as the ball flight. Can't wait for my next round.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dark finish not durable BB's has added distance and the graphite shafts reduce impact to my hands compared to my old steelhead Berthas. Great irons for distance and improved accuracy. Unfortunately the finish is damaged extremely easily. If you don't care that each shot will start to scratch the sole and face finish, then buy these irons. Look old after a few weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Traded Apex CF16 and could not be happier These are super forgiving. Ordered 7-SW and have played 6 rounds with them Ended up ordering 4H,5H,6H,7H and parking the 7 iron. The 8i is amazing High and distance is long. I hit hybrids terrific and more consistently than I do a 7 iron. Currently bag epic 4H,5H, Epic star 7H and Rogue X 8i. ( all based on lofts for gapping ) I like the availability of the optimist hosel for the hybrids on the Great Big Bertha

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Callaway Does It Again Forgiveness no longer needs to be thick or clunky. The newest Big Bertha irons are definitely game improvement clubs, but have the look and feel of better players' irons. And they are about half a club longer than my previous irons - 2018 Rogue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME CLUBS I was one of the lucky ones that pre-ordered these after getting them fitted by Andrew Hodson at Hodson Golf in Richard VA. I have the Steel Fiber shafts. I played them for the first time yesterday Saturday Jan 19, 2019. I shot 81 which was awesome because I have a 17 handicap. Great clubs, They have an awesome look and feel.
