Product Information:

A total redesign by two legends, the Callaway 2019 PM Grind Wedge helps golfers elevate performance around the green. Phil Mickelson and Roger Cleveland identified 3 essential shots – The Knockdown, The Hit & Check, The Phlop – and design a wedge specifically to help any player hit those shots. Offset Groove-in-Groove technology utilizes micro-grooves machined into the face at a 20° angle to promote serious spin gains. Increased offset and a higher toe profile combine to promote proper ball positioning and enhanced playability from a variety of lies.

2019 PM Grind Wedge – A Total Redesign by Two Legends:

  • Co-created by Phil Mickelson and Roger Cleveland to make it easier for golfers to hit 3 essential shots
  • The Knockdown – a low-flying, high-spinning shot ideal for attacking the pin
  • The Hit & Check – a short pitch that bounces twice and stops
  • The “Phlop” – the high-flying, steep-landing, fast-stopping greenside shot Phil made famous

Offset Groove-in-Groove Technology:

  • 4 micro-positive ridges machined into flat parts of the face – parallel to the grooves – to create 84 points of contact with the ball
  • Ridges form a micro-groove pattern between them, creating the “Groove-in-Groove” design for elevated performance at impact
  • For ’19, micro-grooves are machined into the face at a 20° angle, making them perpendicular to the target line for more spin
  • Callaway testing indicates that Offset Groove-in-Groove placement promotes a spin increase of 12% compared to prior PM Grind Wedge

Increased Offset and a Higher Toe:

  • Offset is the distance between the front edge of the hosel and the leading edge of the clubface
  • Increased offset in ’19 PM Grind makes it easier to move ball back in your stance and position hands ahead of ball
  • Higher toe pulls CG location upward to promote a lower trajectory while creating more hittable surface area on face
  • Larger face and high toe increases playability on lob shots from tall grass

C-Grind Sole:

  • Engineered with significant relief at the heel and toe
  • Promotes smooth and clean turf interaction through impact
  • Designed to enable solid contact from all types of lies and turf conditions

Premium Finishes and Components:

  • Platinum Chrome finish provides a classic, timeless aesthetic at address
  • Tour Grey finish provides a sleek, glare reducing aesthetic for confidence
  • KBS Hi-REV 2.0 Steel Shaft enables higher launch with more spin for added stopping power
  • Lamkin UTx Grip features proprietary Tri-Layer Technology for exceptional feel and performance
  • Brand: Callaway

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spinz like a maniacal wizard I loved the pm 1.0 wedge. But that was before I knew what real love was. The 2019 2.0 PM wedge is a thing of absolute engineering genius. Remember the good old days of square cut illegal grooves? Well my friends, be prepared to relive the glory days! These new wedges make the balls dance around the greens like Bruno Mars or Fred Astaire, depending on your era. Tight lies, light, medium or heavy rough....u can make anything spin like the old square cut grooves. U wanna play bunker shots like my buddy Phil Mickelson? Then u need these wedges. You’ll amaze your golfing buddies and make them both jealous and mad!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Callaway has always been number one in my book for customer service. I have been a callaway guy since the company began . I’m a man a retired college golf coach and have been a callaway guy since the company began . These wedges are well made perform great and most importantly they last. I am changing over to this new generation pm grind wedge after using the previous model since they came out and they lasted way longer than the normal sand wedge wears. It’s versatile from all lies and conditions and works great from any type of sand. Callaway stands behind their clubs and if there’s ever a problem nobody’s better at resolving an issue than callaway. I have both the fifty six and sixty degree models and once again I’m totally satisfied with both of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised. I love the deep fully grooved face. It gives confidence out of any lie and also it does indeed raise the CG to allow for flatter full shots if desired. This wedge is by far the most user friendly I have played as far as opening the face for the high flop shot the bounce slides with ease through the grass. And finally the grooves provide all the spin you will need even out of the rough. I cannot discern a loss of performance from the now outlawed box grooves. Well done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The wedge that changed the wedge! picked up the 60/12. practiced on the front 9, 'phlopping' over bunkers and other shots around the green. it likes to have an open face; slightly open for longer flops, wide open for tight pins. flopped one over some trees and landed close to the pin. just amazing how easy this club is to work. i take it back, let gravity start the downswing, and swing smoothly. i did not have a single mishit. also, i'm playing the magna in yellow. great combo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not your normal wedge... To put this simply, this wedge is honestly and truly 2 to 3 wedges in one. I normally carry 4 wedges (PW/GW/SW/LW), 3 of which are Mac Daddy Tour 2's. I picked up the 56 degree wedges and with the high toe and grooves I am now able to easily hit an open face with accuracy and confidence. I have already pulled my old 56/60 wedges from the bag as they are no longer needed. Of note, this wedge is a little heavier so it took a week or two to get used to, however now this is my go to wedge for chipping and pitching from under 100yds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have the 60 degree and 54 degree with stock kbs shaft. 60 is perfect out of the sand. 54 is great off the turf. These wedges are perfect for me. The kbs 2.0 stock shaft plays as regular flex. I have a moderate swing speed and the shaft has great feel along with the club face. I am telling all players with a moderate swing speed to try the wedges with the stock shaft. Very accurate with great feel. Best wedges out there on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to your bag These wedges fit my game very well. I tend to open the face and hit shots on the toe and high on the face. These wedges allow me to do that - with grooves in that area. You can close them, or open them or play them square. They can do it all equally well. I am still getting to know them, but so far so good. The only thing I need more time with them on, is distance control. Overall they are great and are in my bag

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel and performance Purchased the 54 and 58 degree wedges in PM grind and have now played twice with them as well as went to range twice. I am getting the distance if not more in most cases when using these wedges. Around the green I am able to play several different shots with ease and confidence. While I am still getting used to these clubs, I am excited about becoming more proficient and exploring their full capabilities.
