They give you that buttery feedback you want on a perfect strike but won’t punish you harshly when you're just a hair off. Performance: Where these irons separate themselves is in their blend of shot shaping and forgiveness. I’ve been able to work cuts, draws, low bullets, and soft landers with confidence. But when I miss it slightly off the toe or heel, the ball still holds its line. You can be aggressive without fearing penalty. Turf Interaction: This is where the Apex AI150s really shine. Callaway clearly put some work into the sole design. These clubs slice through turf effortlessly, almost like they’re cheating the ground. No digging, no bounce—you get through the impact zone cleanly and confidently, even in tight lies or damp conditions. Bottom line? If you're serious about your game and want irons that let you control the ball without sacrificing feel, the Apex AI150s are a no-brainer. Best addition to my bag in years.

Wow. These things are fun to play with. I don't know why I went with them, but I am happy I did, feel off the face has been great, ball has been workable, distance has been consistent throughout the set. I'm very pleased, don't leave this off the list if you're looking for new clubs.

Best Players Distance Irons For 2025

Had my AI 150 irons custom fit and they replaced my Apex Pro set. Ball flight and distance was excellent. Just ordered the new Opus SP wedges to complete my new set.
