[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a lot of callaway irons over the years and these are my favorite so far. So much forgiveness in a smallish iron size. The flight and height I get in these is amazing.,

Solid iron. Easier to manufacture shots compared to the ai200s

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome feel - may be the best irons I've ever had. Only hit them on a sim so far - can't wait to get out on the course.

I’ve played 7 rounds with these irons and I really like them. Great feel and workability. They look great at setup with thin top line but still forgiving enough from off center shots. They are a touch longer than my 790s but consistent with distance control. I feel as though I have an advantage over my playing partners with these irons in the bag. Today I had 220 into the wind for my second into a par 5 and hit 3 iron a touch thin. It lipped out for a tap in eagle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Apex irons you guys always treat me right I traded my old irons and they're doing well. I would recommend callaway.com to anyone that's looking for a good club and deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been an apex iron player since I started golfing! As always the irons feel and perform amazing well! Picked up some distance with these! The feel of these are definitely better and closer to a traditional forged iron, like butter! I hit my irons pretty well with the occasional mishit, played the cbs the past two years, miss hits were forgiving but with these they don’t exist! Absolutely love this set looking forward to getting them out this season

Tested these quite a bit the last month or so. They out performed every other iron in this category for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving these irons, weakened the loft 1 degree. Spin rates are great.
I like the apex irons. I should have changed the loft because I shortened the shaft.

I received these clubs 3 weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. The feel is excellent, the ball flight is exactly what I want to see, and they stop on the green! They pack a punch in ball speed and distance but also offer some workability as well. Coming from the Ai200 I am more that pleased with the forgiveness of the Ai150. Are they as forgiving as the 200? No but they do help on miss hits more than I would have thought. Just an incredible set of irons!

I had a set up Paradym (regular) irons (5-G) and was very happy with them....5 stars. But unfortunately the 6 iron got a crack in the head, so Callaway offered me a option or Ai150, Ai200 or Ai300's. I picked the Ai150 because when I when to callaway demo day and hit the 7 iron (which is always the demo iron) it felt the most similar to my Paradym irons. When the new irons arrived went straight to the ranges and hammered the 5,6, 7 irons just like my Paradyms perfectly. However I'm struggling with the 8-A and had some major distance loss and feel issues. Well I figure out why after some additional research and the 5 -7 iron are 455 face cup and 8-A are 17-4 face....you're probabily like me saying what's the difference....Well I don't actually know how to explain it but the ball just doesn't come off the face th same on the 8-A. Only way I'm able to hit these irons was to add lead tape (about 3 to 4 grams) to the 8-A. I don't understand it but thats what I had to do....again the feel between the 8 iron and 7 iron are completely different and I was not expecting this at all. Not beeing an club designer I had no idea what 455 face cup and 17-4 face means....Honestly I never even saw it on the callaway website until I expanded some link to see. So lesson learned check the specs on ALL THE IRONs and make sure they're all the same. I'll have to hold on to these because can't afford another set right now....been a long time callaway person for more than 30 years from Big bertha, Rogue Apex pros, paradym irons, but no sure about these Ai150 irons I'm stuck with for now.

Great club. Performed well. Able to hit high enough with stopping power

I can’t give a fair assessment of my new ai150’s right now! I had a total knee replacement done and my new irons showed up 4 days after surgery! I was hoping to get them sooner so I could at least play a couple rounds with them! The design, fit and finish look great! I can’t wait to try them out in a few weeks I’m hoping?

Torn here…bought these after doing and upgrade from my Apex 21’s which I absolutely loved. Took advantage of the double trade in offer. I can honestly say the 7-4 iron are the best feeling irons I’ve ever hit. The face technology is amazing as the ball comes off hot…in a good way, like a bullet. I’ve easily gained 5-10 yards. The 8-PW however don’t feel like anything special and I’m struggling to get the same distances I had before. Lofts are slightly different but not by much. Which brings me gd me to my major complaint w Callaway. I had been fitted by a professional who had me order standard lofts w a 2° upright lie. I noticed right away a minor drop in distance w the 8 iron especially. I took the to my fitter and had them check the lofts/lies. Sure enough the 8 iron loft was off by 3°. Most of the clubs were off by a degree or so and almost NONE of them were set to 2° upright. My fitter was happy to adjust them free of charge but sit still has left a very sour sentiment in regards to Callaway quality control. I didn’t even mention yet that when I received the set, the original 7-iron had a very visible ding in the face. They replaced but still should have been caught before shipping out.
