Gain Yards, Confidence And Respect.

I’ll start off by saying I’m an 8 handicap. I probably should have bought the Ai200 irons but still at this point, forgiveness is more important than workability. I received them within 5 days of ordering, which was super quick. Took them to the range and hit each iron a handful of times. Played my first 9 holes with them yesterday and for the second time in my life of playing golf, shot even par. I’ve got more confidence, contact feels solid and I’m gaining about 10 yards per iron compared to my old irons. I couldn’t be more happy and excited to keep playing with these irons. If you are debating wether or not you should buy an Apex set, DO IT!!!

Great Iron But Not For Me

I purchased a set of AI300 irons at a price too good to turn down. I currently play a 21 Apex and after seeing multiple reviews decided to gave the 300’s a try. Are they long? Yes. Are they forgiving? Yes. Are they for me? Not really. I am 65 and hover between a 3-5 handicap and for what I am used to with the Apex 21’s they are just a little too big, have more offset than I like and frankly are crazy long. The 300 6 iron goes almost the distance of my Apex 21 5 iron which sounds great but the gap between each club is more than I want. Yes it feels great to hit a PW 135 yards but not when I want a 125 yard shot. I sold them and went back to the Apex which are not a long but enable me to hit more precise shots with a better gap between clubs.

Unbelievable Feel

I have had these in the bag for 6 months. I'm a low handicap 60 year old that decided it was time to move to graphite. Off set and top line have never bothered me if it's a little bigger. Absolutely can't say enough about these! Yes you can work the ball both ways and yes you can feel where you strike the ball on the face. Spin is still there. Unbelievable soft feel. In fact I've played them all, forged blades for years and these feel as good if not better than anything I've played! Home run Callaway! Moving into these irons you won't sacrifice anything you will however probably tighten up your dispersion rates.
