Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not even close to what i ordered First off i ordered them 1 degree up only 3 of the 7 were 1 degree up the rest were standard or 1 flat. so after bring them to dicks to get adjusted at another $30 dollars more than the $1200 i custom ordered them this is just started the ball rolling. So with the lost of trust with that i begun to think well they are probably not the right length either low and behold they were all sorts of lengths. Now i have played Callie's along time and i love how they feel. but if you are not going to do them right when let Dick's put together your clubs at least they might take some pride in making a club for what people ordered

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Apex Pro 16's I am recovering from 2 major back surgeries in the last 4 years. I have played a traditional blade for the past 20 years and maintained a handicap between 2.8 and 3.6. After the surgery no golf for 2 years. I have slowly been working on my game and with the loss of mobility, decided it was time for new irons. I purchased the Apex Pro's and immediately noticed a gain in overall distance and accuracy. About the best investment I have made in my golf game in the past 20 years other than my coach Jim McLean. I was the subject of the Golf Channel's Breaking 100 show in 2001. My game has improved drastically since then. Now working to get that 10 handicap to a single digit again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clubs just as advertised. This is my third set of Callaway Irons starting with the XR’s to the steelheads and now the Apex pro 16s. I stayed with Callaway because the quality of their clubs is excellent. The durability of the apex pro irons is unreal. I’ve played about 12 rounds with these clubs and they still look brand new. All the reviews I read on these clubs were right on. Hits just slightly off center have immediate feedback that you didn’t hit it on the screws. But the outcome was still very forgiving. Hit one on the screws, it’s long straight and perfect spin. They were delivered right as scheduled and exactly as ordered. Very satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from irons live up to favorable reviews Irons live up to the favorable reviews from numerous sources. Hitting GIRs in nine holes that I would hit in 18 holes with previous irons. Irons seem to correct ball flight on mishits. Distance equal to or slightly longer than previous irons. Pleased with Project X LZ shafts that I custom ordered. Quality of shafts offered by Callaway is impressive. I haven't had the irons long enough to give an opinion on durability, but they look like new after my initial rounds so I expect them to be durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful clubs Was using the X-forged 13, which I loved..........Decided to buy the Apex Pro 16 with graphite shafts.......Gained a lot of distance on well struck shots........example: a bombed 6 iron with my new Apex goes the same distance as a smooth 4 iron with my X-forged 13 did..........So about a club and a half there..............Apex 8-iron goes same distance as previous 7-iron Can work the ball left/right with these clubs(workability is good) Only slight negative is shots hit off the toe are fairly short compared to a center struck shot......But I knew that going in

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than advertised I tried a number of clubs. Was a Titliest guy for years. These stood out. All the talk about lack of distance is ridiculous. These clubs require a proper strike. Given that is the case, they are as long as any players iron on the market. Golf is ultimately a game of accuracy, and the Apex Pro's combine distance and accuracy like few others. What is too often overlooked, or improperly recommended, is the shaft. That being said, I have seen too many swings that have no business swinging a players club, complaining about the clubs performance. I mean, seriously, that's like a guy getting behind the wheel of a Ferrari, complaining it doesn't handle any better than his Chevy. These irons are played by the world's elite, enough said.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best in the business These clubs are awesome! I was looking heavily into many golf clubs at the time and did a lot of research on which irons I should go with. But after hitting the Apex Pros, I couldn't imagine buying any other set. These clubs have amazing feel and are still pretty forgiving. I used to hit a lower penetrating iron shot but now I hit high lofted shots, which I prefer much more. These irons feel great and look great at address, giving me added confidence. These irons are the best out there if you are a solid ball striker. If you struggle in that department, go with the Apex or Steelheads.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hopefully good Cm on people, are you serious or for real? Have any of you even played these irons? I just bought/got a set of them. They are good, but not magic. My game is exactly the same as my Taylormade tpmb irons. Let's be adults, and not overstate the greatness of metal clubs. Seems to me it's all Callaway marketing.
